The Leeds appoints marketing head

The Leeds Building Society has appointed Laura Hodgkins as its new head of marketing.

She joins the Society from Benenden, where she was group head of marketing for more than eight years.

With over 20 years’ experience, Hodgkins (pictured) has held marketing manager roles at Aviva, HBOS and TD Waterhouse, and holds a Post Graduate CIM Diploma through the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

She said: I’m excited to join Leeds Building Society as Head of Marketing and lead the brand and marketing strategy forward to support the Society’s vision to become Britain’s most successful building society.

“I’m responsible for developing and driving the customer promotional plan across our distribution channels, ensuring we make the right decisions in the long-term best interests of current and future members.”

Nikki Marsh, Leeds Building Society’s director of customer and digital, said: “This appointment is another step forward in our journey to ensure customers are central to what we do.

“Laura will help to shape how we communicate with our customers and potential customers so it’s always appropriate to their needs.”
