The Skipton Building Society has been awarded a 3-star accreditation from the Best Companies for the first time.
The mutual, which placed eighth in last year’s The Sunday Times 25 Best Companies to Work For 2020, has been awarded the 3-star accolade which represents the highest standard of workplace engagement.
The accreditation was awarded following a survey compiled by the Best Companies which was answered by colleagues. The results then generate a score that decides the awarded star accreditation, as well as the potential overall placement in the list of Best Big Companies to Work For in 2021.
David Cutter, chief executive of the Skipton Building Society, said: “It is a great honour for Skipton to be awarded this 3-star accreditation, especially after such a challenging year for all businesses across the UK with the impact of Covid-19.
