The Stafford Railway Building Society has expanded its intermediary mortgage team with the appointment of Stephen Breen as a new business development manager (BDM).
He joins the mutual as BDM for the northern region to compliment current BDM, Emma Parker, who will now focus on strengthening relationships with new and existing broker networks in the south.
Breen has spent the last three and a half years working as a BDM for the Furness Building Society, where he developed intermediary business in Cumbria and North East. In his time at the Furness, he more than doubled the level of completions.
Prior to this, he worked as an area manager for the Furness, and held various branch manager roles at the Bradford and Bingley.
Breen said: “I have found a very warm welcome at Stafford Railway. My aim is to raise the Society profile with networks, clubs and individual brokers in the North. I am looking forward to bringing my expertise to the exciting changes at Stafford Railway Building Society.”
