The Yorkshire Building Society has reduced its mortgage fees.
The mutual has cut £150 from fees across its entire product range, meaning house purchasers will pay £345, £845 or £1,345 to take out their mortgage.
60% loan to value (LTV), two year fixed rate products have also been launched by the Yorkshire, which now has a 1.79% mortgage with a £1,345 fee available, plus a 1.89% product with a £845 fee.
Brendan Gilligan, Yorkshire Building Society’s mortgage product manager, said: “We are constantly looking at ways of helping borrowers and cutting fees will certainly ease the up-front costs they face.
“It goes hand-in-hand with us monitoring our rates and making our mortgages as widely available as possible.
“The new 60% LTV mortgages reflect that as they are our lowest ever fixed rates.”
