Three new faces for Masthaven

Masthaven has welcomed three new appointments.

John Smith joins as national account manager for first charge mortgages. After underwriting at Alliance & Leicester, he moved into a sales role at Platform Home Loans where he worked for 10 years. He then joined Aldermore as a regional account manager and also helped launch Bluestone mortgages into the specialist mortgage market.

Wes Baker and David Owen have been appointed as business development managers (BDMs). Baker has worked in the financial services industry for 12 years, initially with Welcome Finance, managing combined teams of sales and collections and then at Evolution Money, starting in sales as an underwriter, progressing to become A BDM.

At Masthaven Bank he will be covering the North of England, focusing on helping key accounts and new partners increase volumes and productivity across the first and second charge arena.

Owen (pictured) has worked in the financial services sector for over 16 years, across both residential and commercial sectors. Starting his career at NatWest, as a cashier, he worked his way up to become a mortgage adviser. After seven years he moved to Leeds Building Society where his roles included branch manager and area manager. For the past two years he has been working in the specialist lending sector as BDM at Together.

At Masthaven he will be covering the West Midlands and South West of England working across the first and second charge arena.
