TMA unveils new sales force

Mortgage club TMA has appointed two new regional sales managers.

Julie Johnston and Lee Loizou will look after brokers in London and the South West. They are tasked with bringing in new ideas to brokers, helping them to develop new sales techniques, if brokers feel they would benefit from this, and will help them to develop their businesses.

The pair will also look to help bring the brokers together, putting on networking events and helping them to share knowledge. TMA also has plans to extend this service across other parts of the UK.

Johnston has 25 years’ experience in the mortgage industry working in the retail and intermediary markets. She was previously a branch manager and then a mortgage manager for Lloyds TSB which she leaves to take up the role with TMA. Prior to that she worked at Buildstore as a key relationship manager and also spent five years as Mortgage Intelligence as head of the mortgage club and head of mortgage products.

Loizou has been in the industry since 1995 and for the last eight years has run his own mortgage brokerage. Prior to that he worked for Norwich Union Mortgage Club, has been a business development manager for a lender and he has worked in mortgage packaging.

Phil Whitehouse, head of TMA, said: “Having Julie and Lee on board will make a really positive difference to TMA and our members and it is very positive news that we can make these appointments just six months into being a part of the LSL Property Services Group.
