The Mortgage Works (TMW) has joined forces with Rentguard Insurance to offer all new buy-to-let customers six months free rent guarantee and legal expenses cover.
The offer covers loss of rent up to £2,500 a month (up to a maximum of £15,000) and legal fees of up to £25,000.
It also includes landlord costs for disputes between themselves and tenants, including court costs and eviction.
The policy pays out up to £2,500 a month in missed rent (up to a maximum of £15,000 per claim).
In addition, it also covers landlord’s legal costs up to £25,000 per claim. This includes any courts costs and solicitor or bailiff fees arising from any legal proceedings which may unfortunately need to be taken against the tenant.
Meanwhile, TMW is providing access to Rentguard’s Tax Advice Line, allowing borrowers to discuss buy-to-let tax procedures and obligations, including any breaks or refunds they may be entitled to.
