Berkeley Alexander has revealed that Towergate Insurance has signed up to its online quote and buy service.
Now, Berkeley Alexander can now offer mortgage brokers and financial advisors online access to three home insurance products in addition to its existing panel.
These products, along with the others on the panel, are provided to IFAs and mortgage brokers with commission up to 27.5% but at the same premium rate as the insurers make available to the insurance broking sector.
The three new products available are:
- Seasons: an economy product providing buildings, contents and personal possession cover with low excesses
- Seasons Select: Towergate’s standard home insurance product
- Seasons Platinum: a mid net worth product with extra benefits including cover for higher than average sums insured and buildings up to the value of £750,000

Berkeley Alexander plans to add further new insurers and products to its quote and buy online system in the coming weeks and months.
