Trio of new broker BDMs for Together

Together has appointed three new business development managers to cover the North East, London and the Midlands.

Chris Timms, Kitt Makwana and Paula Dowson are working with brokers in the Midlands, London and North East respectively, to increase awareness of Together’s specialist finance offering, which includes residential, commercial and buy-to-let mortgages, as well as short-term finance, auction finance and secured loans.

Timms, who joins from Natwest and has previously held roles at Which? and broker London and Country, said: “I’m excited to be joining Together as it continues to grow and will be building relationships with brokers throughout the Midlands to develop their understanding of what we can offer. Together’s approach to lending decisions allows us to problem solve, and having worked as a broker myself, I know how important that is.”

Makwana, who worked at Barclays for 13 years, added: “I’m delighted to be joining a business with such an exciting proposition and a strong appetite to lend. I look forward to working with brokers across London to bring greater awareness of Together’s offering and help them find tailored solutions for their customers.”

Dowson, who has 18 years’ experience in the financial services industry and joins following 10 years at Northern Rock/ Virgin Money, said: “Together’s common sense approach to lending is really refreshing, so I’m pleased to be part of the team and look forward to introducing Together’s specialist offering to the North East intermediary market.”

Richard Tugwell, Together’s group intermediary relationship director, added: “As we continue with our ambitious growth plans, we want to substantially grow our UK presence so that brokers and packagers across the country have an experienced Together representative on hand locally for them. Our new business development managers bring with them over 40 years of combined industry experience and will be a great asset to our growing team.”
