Vida Homeloans has made changes to its new build proposition, as well as introducing a ‘speedier’ remortgage process by allowing conveyancers to use its No Search Indemnity insurance.
The lender has extended its new build mortgage offer period from four to six months and removed the need for a re-inspection to be carried out prior to completion.
It also has a dedicated underwriting team in Skipton, North Yorkshire. If the build overruns, offers can be extended by up to a further six months.
Vida has also announced that for remortgages, all conveyancers on its panel can now use its No Search Indemnity insurance, including on portfolios, HMOs and MUBs. This results in a faster process and much lower costs to the customer.
