80 key introducers of second charge loan business to Y3S will attend the inaugural Y3S Cup at the Celtic Manor Resort, the 2010 Ryder Cup venue, next month.
Four lenders have shown their support by providing sponsorship for the event: Shawbrook Bank, Precise Mortgages, Blemain Finance and Masthaven Secured Loans will all feature on Y3S’s marketing materials over the coming weeks and will appear prominently at the venue on 6 June. Senior representatives and directors of each lender will also take part in the competition alongside mortgage brokers.
“There are few that would doubt the growing importance of mortgage brokers to the second charge market which is why the top lenders have got behind this event wholeheartedly,” said director Matt Cottle.
“Mortgage brokers increasingly hold second charge loan products in much higher esteem than they used to, because the products are often cheaper overall than a full remortgage. Our lenders want to talk with brokers about what’s happening at grass roots level.”
