Cardiff-based loan brokerage Y3S has appointed Laura Strange to the role of group human resources manager.
The group of businesses, which employs 85 people across three offices in South Wales, felt that it needed to tighten up its approach to HR management in the run up to FCA regulation.
Matt Cottle (pictured), joint CEO of Y3S Group, said: “There has been so much to do address before regulation takes hold of the second charge industry and we want to ensure that we have taken all reasonable steps to build strength in every conceivable area.
“Laura is utterly professional and has considerable experience in running HR departments within FCA regulated firms bringing a wealth of knowledge to our team. She is also the second female member of management to be appointed in the last four weeks.”
Joint CEO Barney Drake, added: “I am over the moon that Laura has joined our team. As a highly qualified HR professional, with many years of experience in our sector.
“She understands the need to cement the group’s role as a customer-focussed business and furthermore, her appointment will further improve the development of all staff. She will play an essential part in our overall business strategy.”
