Accord Mortgages has added its sales division with the appointment of two new telephone business development managers (TBDM).
Mario De Wet will be responsible for the Doncaster, Huddersfield, Cleveland, Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury areas. He has been with Yorkshire Building Society since 2010, having most recently worked as an Accord business development Adviser for the last five years.
Jodie Hainsworth (pictured) will be first point of call for brokers in Canterbury, Crewe, Exeter, Blackpool, Inverness, Telford, Torquay, Wakefield, Worcester and York. She has been with the Society since 2013, having previously worked in mortgage collection and recoveries and, most recently, the business development team.
She is replacing Emma Brown, who will be taking on the role of business development manager for Yorkshire whilst Sam Thomas is on maternity leave.
Chris Hill, regional sales manager for Accord, said: “Sitting alongside our field-based BDMs, the telephone BDM is incredibly important, enabling us to regularly engage with brokers across the UK, regardless of location.
“The recent success of the team in building established relationships and being the primary contact for lending queries has resulted in us growing this function to further support brokers.
“Mario and Jodie both bring a wealth of experience to the role and will be great additions to the team, providing expert advice to the intermediary network and ensuring applications can go through as quickly and effortlessly as possible.”
