The director of the Association of Finance Brokers (AFB) says it’s not inconceivable the trade body could be shut down or merged with the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) as part of a strategic review.
It was announced last week that the Association of Independent Financial Advisers (AIFA), AFB and AMI will undergo a three-month review, following Stephen Gay’s recent appointment as director-general of the three organisations.
