Aldermore has appointed Jeremy Baber as operations director of its asset finance business.
Baber is based in Aldermore’s Reading office and reports to Chris Dailey, operations director for commercial finance and George Ashworth, managing director of asset finance.
He has over 24 years’ experience in operations, quality and finance within General Electric Company (GE). He started his career with GE Aircraft Engines in Cardiff, before moving into the financial services industry via an overseas assignment with GE Consumer Finance in the US.
In May 2005 Baber joined GE Capital in its commercial finance business where he was operations director responsible for asset finance. More recently, he has taken-on pan-european process improvement roles driving digitisation and customer facing extranet enhancements.
