Aspen Bridging has appointed Ian Miller-Hawes to the newly created role of head of sales and made new  hires in underwriting and IT.

Miller-Hawes (pictured) will be responsible for driving the lender’s relationships with introducers throughout the country, as well as helping with deals and offering training on the bridging market.

He joins Aspen having previously been head of sales (London) at Market Financial Solutions. Prior to that he worked for Castle Trust and Fleet Mortgages in senior BDM roles.

Jack Coombs, director at Aspen, said: “We are delighted to have Ian join the team and we are certain he will be key to helping introducers understand our offering and to building the type of strong relationships on which the business is founded.”

Miller-Hawes added: “Building key broker relationships, from ‘one-man-bands’ to packagers to international offices, and being responsive to each of their needs, is key to achieving our ambitious lending targets.

“Having just revamped our ratecard with the introduction of lower interest rates and launch of the new light development and rapid desktop valuation products, coupled with our best-in-class service, we are in a fantastic position to enhance our status in 2021.”

In addition, Aspen has appointed Laura Randall as an underwriter and Jonathan Caddy as a senior developer.
