Barclays is reducing the rates on some of its mortgage products tomorrow (7 September).
Changes are as follows:
Residential
Reward Range
- 1.94% EMC Reward 5 Year Fixed, £999 product fee, 60% LTV, will decrease to 1.87%
Purchase/Remortgage
- 1.92% 2 Year Fixed, £999 product fee, 85% LTV, Min loan £400,000, Max loan £2,000,000 will decrease to 1.87%
- 1.95% 5 Year Fixed, £999 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 1.88%
A Barclays spokesperson said: “The mortgage market, particularly the remortgage market, is expected to be vibrant as we enter into Autumn and we are committed to keeping our product range highly competitive during this period.
“As a result, we have reviewed our current range and are making a number of reductions.”
