Crystal Specialist Finance (CSF) has reported a decade of continual growth with a record 2019.
It saw an increase last year of 22.7% increase in terms issued at £2.86 billion across 91 lenders.
CSF saw an overall increase in applications at 19%, completion numbers up 17%, a rise in completion values of 12% and completed deals with 59 lenders.
CSF has also continued to expand its internal systems to support its growth, with new departments for broker satisfaction, quality assurance and staff development as well as expanded IT, sales and marketing teams.
Staff numbers have increased to 52 at the start of 2020 – including a new bridging underwriter, secured loans lending manager and underwriting assistant whom all started on 2 January – from 43 at the outset of 2019.
Jo Breeden (pictured), managing director of Crystal Specialist Finance, said: “To achieve such substantial growth in what is readily acknowledged as a very tough 12-month period for the finance sector is testament to my excellent team and their desire to always deliver for the broker and their clients.
“Above this our desire to educate intermediaries, both mainstream and specialist, on the myriad of financial solutions for literally every customer requirement has played a hugely significant part in the numbers and will continue to remain front-and-centre of our market proposition.
“Add to this another year of staff growth, involvement and education, closer relationships with our panel lenders, new network partners, multiple award wins and leading marketing initiatives, such as our Crystal Podcast and CPD points webinars, and we are in a wonderful position to accelerate in 2020 and beyond.”
