Legal expenses insurer DAS, in association with national law firm Simpson Millar, is launching what it claims to be the UK’s first insurance backed pre-paid legal plan.
Everyday Legal membership is £9.99 per month for an individual, or £14.99 to include all live-at-home family members and provides legal expenses cover for property conveyancing and many other legal issues.
As well as the £450 worth of legal cover for conveyancing, the Everyday Legal Plan covers legal costs including: personal injury claims £10,000; contract disputes £1,000; clinical negligence claims £10,000; pre-nuptials up to £500; education appeals £5,000; contesting NHS care assessment claims £500; contested probate £1,000; and divorce £1,000.
