10:30 The conference programme will be opened by Sir Christopher Meyer who will give the keynote speech.

11:00 Property hour (part 1) – A panel of specialist funders made up of Alan Cleary – Precise Mortgages, Karen Bennett – Shawbrook Bank and Liz Syms – Connect for Intermediaries will consider the state of the residential lending market, including term loans, consumer buy-to-let, bridging finance and more.

11:30 Property hour (part 2) – A panel of commercial property funders, including Scott Marshall – Roma Finance, Ludo Mackensie – Octopus Property, Marc Goldberg – Together, Phil Green – Norwich & Peterborough and Amanda Dorel – Lloyds Banking Group, discuss the UK’s non-residential finance market in depth.

12:00 Banking today – A legion of new banks has not only transformed the way we bank, but the way in which we view the entire system. To discuss the growing importance of this evolving market, our panel of industry leaders includes Andrew Bloom – Masthaven, Graham Olive – OakNorth Bank and Victoria Bateman – RFi Group.

12:30 ‘The Politics of finance’ brings together Philip Coggan of the Economist and Larry Elliott, economics editor at the Guardian –  who will discuss our country’s current eco-political state. The debate will be mediated by Coreco’s Andrew Montlake.

Lunch

13:30 Speed roundtable session on innovative funding options including VAT Finance from BloomSmith, business finance platforms with Compare My Loan, commodity murabaha and other funding options with Ortus Secured Finance, equity release and later life lending with Pure Retirement and mezzanine loans with Iron Bridge Finance.

14.30 Robert Pritchard, Associate Director of CBRE Group, the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, will take a closer look at the housing market and its current and future opportunities.

Rachel Fellows of R&R Events, the organiser of the FP Show, said: “We are very excited to have attracted this calibre of speakers for our conference programme, which we believe takes our expo to a new level in terms of visitor interest. This is going to be a memorable day for everyone who attends the FP Show.

“Not only can they meet more lenders and product providers than ever before, attend some of the most informative sessions ever put together at a UK finance Expo, but they can also pick up valuable CPD points for attending, too.”
