Halifax is extending its £1,000 cashback to remortgage customers who complete on a qualifying mortgage by 24 June 2018.
As well as the cashback, remortgage customers can also use Halifax’s dedicated remortgage switcher service and have their basic legal fees and standard valuation paid.
The £1,000 cashback is also available to first-time buyers and home movers. It will be paid automatically on completion, sent to the conveyancer with the completion funds.
It excludes buy-to-let, product transfers and further advances and remortgage applications through Halifax Intermediaries.
Andy Bickers, mortgages director at Halifax, said: “Our £1,000 cashback for first-time buyers and home movers has been such a success that we’re now rolling it out so that remortgagers who switch to us can enjoy a welcome cash injection.”
