Legal & General Mortgage Services has announced that its mortgage research and product sourcing platform, Legal & General Ignite, will be both fully integrated with and freely accessible to users of end-to-end mortgage and protection platform, Smartr365.
The new extended partnership will give Smartr365 users free access to Legal & General Ignite without being subject to any licence fees. Smartr365 users who select Legal & General Ignite as their sourcing provider will be able to pre-populate their searches with existing data. Similarly, regulatory documents will be returned and saved in Smartr365 automatically, significantly reducing the amount of time dedicated to administrative tasks.
Legal & General Ignite provides Smartr365 users with a sourcing solution which encapsulates criteria, an integrated affordability calculator, product sourcing, and property-checking tools. In addition, search results and documents generated in Legal & General Ignite will now be available to view on the Smartr365 platform.
Joe Wilson, key relationship manager at Legal & General Mortgage Services, and Alex McCallum, sales executive at Smartr365, will host a free webinar to explore how the integration will support advisers. This will be held from 10:00-10:30 on Tuesday 21 November 2023.
Jodie White, head of product & transformation at Legal & General Technology, said: “The partnering of Smartr365 with our recently refreshed mortgage research and sourcing platform, Legal & General Ignite, marks another important step towards a fully streamlined mortgage journey as well as the continued evolution of our flagship tool.
“With the help of Legal & General Ignite, advisers using Smartr365 will not only be able to focus more of their time on providing bespoke, quality advice to their clients, but it will also ensure they are reaching the best possible customer outcomes.”
Conor Murphy, CEO of Smartr365, added: “Our longstanding partnership with Legal & General continues to pay dividends for the adviser community and is testament to the growing appetite for innovation and digitisation within the UK mortgage market. Smartr365 is already the platform of choice for just shy of 4,000 brokers in the UK, and partnerships such as this are driving further market adoption.
“The mortgage market is excited about the benefits that good technology tools bring, and we are equally thrilled to provide them. Digitisation is key to unlocking the next stage of the mortgage market through heightened efficiency and improved customer satisfaction. This is another significant step in our partnership, with further exciting news to follow in the not-so-distant future.”
