Legal & General has launched a new digital broker platform that delivers greater efficiency by enabling online management for group income protection and group life assurance policies.
The system provides brokers with access to a large amount of information on their clients, so that they can quote, apply and renew using one system.
It also includes all of the recent improvements to the underlying terms and conditions of these policies.
The platform can also provide instant online comparison quotes without the need for advisers to repeatedly input customer data. It also enables brokers to complete renewals online.
Colin Fitzgerald, distribution director for Legal & General Group Protection, said: ”Our Digital Broker Platform has been developed to reflect the feedback we’ve received from brokers as well as our appetite for targeting this employer segment through competitive pricing and enhancements to free cover limits.
”Ease of doing business is central to Legal & General’s ongoing service enhancements and the Digital Broker Platform is no exception. We’ve invested in our digital offering to make the process of applying for group protection an easier, more streamlined experience.
“We strongly believe that innovative technology has a significant role to play in the group protection market driving efficiencies of administration, time and cost for brokers to manage their customers’ group life and group income protection policies.”
