The Later Life Academy (LLA), the commercial and training organisation for later life advisers, has embarked upon a new relationship with Legacy Wills & Estate Planning, the will writing and estate planning firm.

From next month, members of the LLA will be able to access the products and services of Legacy Wills & Estate Planning for their clients which cover:
· Will-writing services – both single or mirror wills with or without lasting power of attorney.
· Referrals to Legacy for probate work – Legacy are able to operate as a professional Executor for the client, as well as offering estate administration services.
· Referrals to Legacy for the setting up and drafting of trusts and trustee support.
· Referrals to Legacy for other estate planning products such as establishing a deed of variation.

“Establishing this new relationship with Legacy is a great next step for the Academy and our members as we seek to expand our overall offering but also deliver specific services such as this for estate planning referrals,” said Stuart Wilson, managing partner of the Later Life Academy.

“Many later life clients will be in need of such a proposition and our agreement with Legacy means our members can have the confidence to refer and introduce, knowing their clients will be looked after by one of the leaders in its field. We certainly want our members to look at the opportunities that exist for them and their clients, as estate planning should be one of the cornerstones of the holistic advice structure they can, with the Academy’s help, be building. Over the course of the year we will be further enhancing the services and opportunities we offer members and we will continue to establish strong relationships with quality businesses such as we have done here with Legacy.”

There is great synergy between our two organisations that should see us help each other achieve our goals.

“As one of the largest Will and Estate Planning specialists in the UK we are well positioned to assist LLA members broaden their product offering and form part of the holistic advice structure they are working towards.
