The Coventry Building Society has announces it intends to appoint Gary Hoffman as non-executive director and chair of the board, subject to regulatory approval.
Hoffman’s career includes executive and non-executive positions in banking, insurance and payments services. He is currently a director of Hastings Group Holdings plc (HGH) and will become non-executive chairman of HGH in May 2018.
He also serves on the Board of Visa Europe as chairman and will be stepping down from this position effective 30 June 2018.
It is intended Hoffman will join the board on 26 April 2018 and that the Coventry’s current interim chair, Peter Ayliffe, will then resume the role of deputy chair.
