Legal & General has announced two new hires within its general insurance division.
Guy Whittaker joins as an account manager following his previous role as general insurance management consultant, where he specialised in the management of insurance propositions and operations.
Whittaker joins Legal & General with over 14 years’ experience working for both providers and distributors at Allianz and Sesame Bankhall Group, where he held the role of general insurance manager and was responsible for developing and delivering the general insurance proposition.
The insurer has also appointed Katy Beech to its general insurance division, where she assumes the role of marketing campaign manager across the company’s Broker and Intermediary channels.
Beech joins Legal & General from Sesame Bankhall Group, where through her role as senior marketing executive she was responsible for managing and implementing multi-platform campaigns.
With four years’ experience within the intermediary market, including two years with LSL property services managing the marketing strategy for its Directly Authorised arm, TMA Mortgage Club, Beech will be responsible for implementing marketing campaigns for the intermediary market and will report directly to Lindsay Millership, marketing manager.
