The Right Will and Estate Planning has launched a new referral service for advisers to offer their clients Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
The firm currently works with over 500 advisers across the UK and says that it launched the referral service because “many advisers understand the importance of later life planning, but simply don’t have time to offer the services themselves”.
Tania Stretton, director at The Right Will and Estate Planning, said: “A large majority of advisers refer their clients to solicitors for Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney because they either don’t have the time, or the knowledge to offer this service themselves.
“The reality is that most people won’t follow up on this, in which case we need to ask ourselves whether we are fulfilling our duty of care to our clients. Our new referral service means that advisers can refer clients to us instead with the benefits of; knowing that we will contact their clients, receiving commission up to £500 per couple, no risk of us cross selling other financial products and updates at each stage of the process.”
