Andrew Lee has joined the bard of directors at Teachers Building Society as non-executive director.
He is currently a chief financial officer (CFO) in the Co-operative Banking Group. Previous positions include senior executive roles at Lloyds Corporate Bank and Alliance & Leicester.
Kevin Richardson, chairman of Teachers Building Society, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Andrew to Teachers Building Society and am certain that he will strengthen the Board with his 30 years exceptional experience within financial services.
“The Society has a strategy for strong growth over the next five to 10 years and I’m confident that Andrew will make a significant contribution to our continued success.”
Lee added: “I’m looking forward to helping Teachers Building Society continue to grow. Teachers is an example of what a specialist, mutual lender, can offer its customers and, together with its reputation for providing an excellent level of service and passionate staff, is well placed to flourish.”
Richardson is to retire as chairman in April. At that time, the Board at Teachers will consist of two executive and four non-executive directors.
