Rob Jupp, CEO of specialist lending hub Brightstar Financial, is to be one of the main speakers at the inaugural Financial Services Expo (FSE) on 2 October.
Jupp, who also took up his role as chairman of the Association of Bridging Professionals (AOBP) this month, will be outlining the rise, fall and slow recovery that has led to the vibrant specialist lending market of today, along with an analysis of the political and social consequences of the current sterility of the mainstream mortgage market.
Brightstar Financial is also an exhibitor and its stand will cover specialist first charge mortgages, secured loans, bridging and commercial mortgages.
Jupp said: “Those of us who have weathered the storm of the past five years are looking at a lending landscape which is totally different to what went before.
“What I want to do is to provide some context to show how the past has had such a considerable bearing on how the market looks today, what the future holds for intermediaries and the lending community at large, as we continue to reach for a sustainable, profitable and compliant state of normality.”
