Skipton Building Society For Intermediaries has announced the appointment of Lucy Lewis as national account lead.
Lewis (pictured) started her career within financial services in the marketing department at Countrywide, looking after its direct marketing proposition, before later changing roles to a field-based sales development manager.
Lewis then joined the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries, ending up as a senior policy adviser. She finally moved to L&G Mortgage Club at the start of last year as a lender account executive where she was managing lender relationships before her move to Skipton.
Lewis said: “I’m delighted to be joining Skipton Building Society and to be able to play a part in their growth journey. I am a firm believer in the value of advice and the great service provided by mortgage intermediaries and
“I’m looking forward to working closely with firms to bring the Skipton proposition to life and to make a difference to the lives of their customers.”
Paul Fenn, the Skipton’s head of business development, added: “I’m delighted Lucy has agreed to join us here at Skipton. Lucy’s experience of distribution and the broker markets and will be vital in helping us to achieve our objectives of making things easier for brokers.
“Her detailed knowledge of what’s important to both brokers and lenders is so important in a more complex and challenging market.”
