The Mortgage Lender has appointed its first onsite underwriter, based at TFC Homeloans and 3mc.
Jemma Pugh’s appointment as a roving underwriter allows brokers to discuss their cases with an onsite decision maker.
Pugh (pictured) left M&S Bank to take up the roving underwriter position and her previous roles include senior underwriter at Mortgages Plc.
Peter Beaumont, The Mortgage Lender’s deputy chief executive, said: “With a relaunched residential range that includes exclusive deals only available through selected partners, and buy-to-let products, putting an experienced underwriter onsite who can discuss and make a decision on a case is the logical next step.
“I’m delighted to welcome Jemma to the team and I know she’ll do a fantastic job for TFC Homeloans and 3mc.”
