Accord Mortgages has appointed three new business development managers (BDM) in London North, London South and Thames Valley.
Working in the London North area will be Sian Varone (pictured). She has an underwriting background, having worked closely with the Accord team for a number of years and has been instrumental in developing the lender’s approach to offering mortgages for contractors.
Kathy Clark will be joining as BDM for the London South area and previously managed the flagship Yorkshire Building Society (YBS) branch on the King’s Road in Chelsea. More recently, She has been responsible for managing a cluster of retail branches across the south east.
Previously YBS branch manager in Bromley, Adam Parker’s new role as BDM for the Home Counties will see him support brokers in the Thames Valley area. He has worked for the Yorkshire for 15 years.
Jeremy Duncombe, director of intermediaries at Accord, said: “Over the past 12 months, we have significantly increased the size of our sales team, to ensure that we add as much value to our broker relationships as possible.
“In an ever-changing market, the BDM role is increasingly important, and the experience of Kathy, Sian and Adam will allow us to speak to more brokers face to face, and tailor our solutions to their needs.”
