VAS Assurance’s Valuation Desktop+ has hit two key milestones in completing over £200m worth of valuations across more than 300 properties, following its launch in February.
Lenders who have used the system over the last nine months include Aspen Bridging and Hope Capital.

Valuation Desktop+ works by allocating each case to one of the company’s in-house valuation professionals who will create a detailed report, including explanations to all key factors plus conclusion and recommendations, based on property specific information provided to them by the client.
As a physical inspection is not required all reports are guaranteed within 48 hours, however it provides clients with a land registry mapped site plan to make sure the entire boundary has been taken into consideration within the valuation.
The service has been designed to work with standard mortgageable residential property below £2m in London and £1m in the rest of the country, as well as semi-commercial and commercial properties.
