The Yorkshire Building Society has announced a number of rate reductions.
Changes are aimed at both buyers and those looking to remortgage.
New deals include the following:
- A three year fixed-rate at 65% LTV is now 1.52% (was 1.60%) with £495 completion fee and free standard valuation
- A five year fixed-rate at 80% LTV is now 1.80% (was 1.86%) with £495 completion fee and free standard valuation
- A five year fixed-rate at 85% LTV is now 1.90% (was 1.99%), with £495 completion fee and free standard valuation
- A seven year fixed-rate at 65% LTV is now 2.22% (was 2.25%) with a £495 completion fee and free standard valuation.
- A seven year fixed-rate at 85% LTV is now 2.43% (was 2.47%) with a £495 completion fee and free standard valuation
Ben Reed, product manager at Yorkshire Building Society, said: “Our mortgages come in a variety of shapes and sizes as we aim to cater for a number of homeowners’ needs.
