Martine Catton has been give the responsibility for establishing a direct business channel for the Invoice Finance division of Aldermore.
Catton (pictured) was previously responsible for the North West sales operation at Aldermore Invoice Finance. She now becomes head of direct sales, reporting to Ross McFarlane, commercial director.
Before joining Aldermore she was regional sales director for Cattles Invoice Finance. She has over 20 years experience in business banking.
“Although the majority of Aldermore’s invoice finance business is currently introduced via professional advisers, we also receive enquiries direct from business owners,’ said Catton.
“Our objective is to give owners of small and medium sized businesses a wider choice of how they can access our services; they can either use the services of an adviser or deal direct if they prefer.
“Over the course of the coming months I will be looking at all potential business channels, including the internet. This is an exciting opportunity and one which compliments and enhances Aldermore’s existing new business strategy.”
