Conveyancing solutions provider LMS has extended its partnership with Family Building Society for an additional three years.
Family Building Society will continue to have access to the Panel Link service which gives it access to a panel of fully vetted law firms. The service also provides a range of additional services to secure the monetary chain and deliver operational efficiencies in the home buying process.
Nick Chadbourne (pictured), chief executive of LMS, said: “Building societies continue to play a vital role in the mortgage industry, helping hundreds of thousands of borrowers to climb the housing ladder. We’re pleased to extend our partnership with National Counties Building Society as we look to create an easier and more secure conveyancing process for lenders and consumers across the UK.
“It’s essential that firms across the industry work closely together to deliver better outcomes for borrowers and help modernise the conveyancing journey. Panel Link continues to lead the way for inter-party cooperation, and we look forward to working further with the National Counties Building Society over the next three years.”
Kathy Mendoza, director of legal and compliance at the Family Building Society, added: “LMS’ Panel Link service enables us to benefit from a more streamlined and efficient conveyancing experience whilst ensuring confidence over the security of the process.
“It was a natural choice for us to extend our relationship with LMS to build on the excellent work we have done together so far and continue to bring value to our borrowers.”
