Pepper Money has expanded its underwriting specialist team by two-thirds since the start of 2021.
At the beginning of the year, the specialist lender had a team that consisted of 15 case owners who are allocated at the point the application is submitted to provide consistency and support broker partners. By the beginning of May, this number had grown to 25 case owners following a period of recruitment.
Pepper Money says its increased capability will enable it to continue to grow its lending whilst maintaining its service delivery.
