Quantum Funding has appointed Rob Emmison as broker manager to increase regional support for brokers in the north of England and Scotland.
He will work alongside existing external broker manager John Ward, who will focus on brokers in the south of England, to build on both new and existing asset finance broker relationships.
Paul Cunningham, head of Quantum Funding, said: “We have already seen substantial growth in the business, thanks to the continued support of brokers and their SME clients. We have strong aspirations for Quantum and I am delighted to have Rob on board to help us achieve them.”
Emmison has 20 years’ experience in the asset finance industry and joins from Bibby Leasing. Prior to Bibby, he was a broker manager at Shawbrook Bank and he also has experience as a risk manager at Barclays.
He said: “I was drawn towards working at Quantum due to the way they differentiate, with high levels of service and great people. I am looking forward to spending time with Quantum’s existing relationships, as well as on-boarding new brokers, to support brokers and their clients with the growth of their business.
Cunningham added: “As the latest Finance and Leasing Association data shows, demand for asset finance continues to grow every quarter, and we have experienced this too. SMEs know they need to invest in order to grow and we are committed to helping them do so.”
