All four firms featured identify their platforms as being whole of market systems.
Paymentshield, for instance, uses a panel of seven insurers for home insurance with a total of nine insurers across the entire product range.

The three predominantly GI systems have all increased their product numbers over the past 12 months. Source Insurance has seen the greatest increase (50%).

The number of providers on iPipeline has actually fallen over the past year, down from 24 to 20. Meanwhile, Uinsure has increased the number of providers on its system from 5 to 17.

Paymentshield’s insurance panel covers home, landlords, tenants, mortgage and income protection, compared to Source, which instead covers lifestyle and buy-to-let, as well as home insurance.
Uinsure covers all aspects of general insurance, while iPipeline offers GI as well as all areas of protection.
