Criteria systems may also offer non-core functionality on top of criteria sourcing. Extra features on offer include the ability to perform affordability calculations, facilities for client document storage, compliance and conveyancing, as well as customer relationship management (CRM) systems (either integrated or linked to).
With affordability at the heart of the FCA’s changes to mortgage regulation over the past decade, the ability to assess affordability is important to brokers. In this instance, Knowledge Bank links to every lender’s affordability calculator, while Criteria Hub can link to its sister platform, Affordability Hub.

Knowledge Bank stores all documents created, such as the ‘evidence of research’ used for compliance purposes.
